Meet Our Psychologists

Jacqui White

Psychologist

Jacqui is a registered psychologist with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals to achieve whole-person health and wellbeing. She holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Psychology and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).


Jacqui provides evidence-based treatments including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Positive Psychology interventions. Her approach is tailored to each client’s needs, supporting stress management, sleep improvement, resilience, and progress toward personal goals in a supportive environment.


She also incorporates mindfulness, breathing, and relaxation strategies into therapy, offering practical skills clients can apply in daily life. Her training as a yoga teacher and in Mental Health Aware Yoga (MHAY) complements her practice while maintaining a strong focus on best-practice psychological care.


Jacqui works with adolescents and adults and provides services funded through Medicare, WorkSafe, TAC, private health insurance, the NDIS, EAP, DVA, Ambulance Victoria, and the Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal (VOCAT).

Nicole Kearns

Psychologist

Master of Psychology (Clinical) and provides a range of psychological assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents and adults.


Nicole has experience in educational and cognitive assessments, and working with children, adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD and other neurodevelopmental disorders, as well as their parents/guardians.


Nicole also has experience in suicide prevention and high prevalence mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma and personality disorders. Nicole takes a person-centred, strengths-based approach, informed by feedback from each client. 

Techniques used include cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and motivational interviewing.


Nicole is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and an associate member of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.


Nicole supports children and works closely with their parents or guardians. She is a registered provider with Medicare, WorkSafe Victoria, TAC, private health insurance, and the NDIS.

Paul Mattas

Psychologist

Paul is a registered psychologist who values collaboration and works alongside clients to achieve their goals while building a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship. He is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS).


Paul has experience in ADHD and enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan.


Paul is passionate about assisting individuals using an integrative approach that is client focused, which draws on elements of interventions such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS).


Paul provides psychological services to clients funded through Medicare, WorkSafe Victoria, TAC, the NDIS, VOC, and private sessions.

Alanna Bennetts

Psychologist

Alanna is a registered psychologist who has completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours, and her Masters in Professional Psychology. Alanna is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, as she performed in the top 15% of all graduate students in her field of study


 Alanna is a vibrant and empathetic psychologist working with adolescents and young adults, focusing on depression, anxiety, and trauma. She also has a special interest in the intersection of endometriosis and mental health. Her commitment to this work reflects a genuine passion for making a positive impact by providing support and insights tailored to each client’s needs. 


Alanna brings a blend of techniques into her practice, integrating methods from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) and Clinical Hypnosis.


Alanna enjoys working with adolescents and young adults and focuses on empowering them to reach their goals. She accepts referrals via Medicare (with a Mental Health Care Plan from a GP), WorkCover, TAC, NDIS, VOC, and private sessions.

Jaimie Bellaart

Psychologist

Jaimie is a registered general psychologist and behaviour support practitioner. She holds a Master’s in Professional Psychology from Federation University Australia and is an active member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), serving as a committee member of the APS Ballarat branch. Jaimie is also a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. 


With experience supporting individuals across the disability and out-of-home care sectors, Jaimie works with a variety of presentations. She is dedicated to promoting overall well-being and fostering a collaborative, authentic, and safe therapeutic environment. Her practice integrates evidence-based strategies from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and strengths-based approaches.


Jaimie provides psychological services funded through Medicare, the NDIS, TAC, VOCAT, WorkSafe, and private sessions.

Matthew Eden

Psychologist

Matthew is a registered psychologist who views wellbeing as multifaceted and enjoys helping clients develop tools that support long-term psychological growth.


He has experience working with neurodivergence both personally and clinically, having been diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and working in neurodivergent assessment and intervention. He believes early identification is important in supporting a child’s educational and developmental outcomes.


Matthew is a gentle, warm, and occasionally quirky psychologist who works with individuals across the lifespan to reduce the impacts of trauma, anxiety, and depression. He has experience supporting at risk youth and adults in workforce settings, which has strengthened his understanding of barriers to growth and the importance of a strong therapeutic alliance.


Matthew takes a person-centred, strengths-based approach and adapts therapy based on client feedback. He utilises Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.


He is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and provides services funded through Medicare, WorkCover, TAC, the NDIS, VOCAT, and private sessions.

Corrin Volker

Psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner (Proficient)

Corrin holds a Master of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Deakin University and is currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Autism Studies through Griffith University.


She supports individuals across the lifespan, with particular interest in working with autistic people, people with ADHD, and those living with physical or psychosocial disability. Corrin also has extensive experience supporting clients through trauma, significant life transitions, grief, and end-of-life challenges. She provides affirming and inclusive care for clients who are gender and sexuality diverse, with strong respect for identity and lived experience.


Her practice is grounded in equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed care. Corrin delivers evidence-based interventions including EMDR, CBT, DBT, and ACT, and conducts comprehensive cognitive, autism, ADHD, and learning assessments. She also provides Specialist Behaviour Support under the NDIS, working collaboratively with families, support teams, and allied health professionals to deliver holistic, person-centred support.


Corrin offers in-clinic, telehealth, phone, and limited outreach appointments. Services are available through the NDIS, FAS (VOCAT), Medicare with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), TAC, WorkCover, and private funding.

Samara Muhlhan

Psychologist

Samara is a psychologist with a Master of Professional Psychology from Federation University, an Honours degree from RMIT University, and a Bachelor of Psychological Science from Deakin University. She takes a strengths-based, person-centred approach and prioritises creating a safe and inclusive space where clients can explore their experiences and work towards their goals. Her treatment style draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and the biopsychosocial framework.


Samara has a background in community services, including case management and adult housing support, and has provided clinical support to primary school children. She has experience working with children, families, and adults from diverse backgrounds in both therapeutic and support settings. Her interest areas include perinatal psychology, somatic psychotherapy, and intersectional psychology.


She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and provides services funded through Medicare, the NDIS, VOC, and private sessions.

Laura Bars

Provisional Psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner

Laura is a provisional psychologist and behaviour support practitioner who takes a compassionate, person centred approach, placing each person’s unique experiences and needs at the centre of therapy. She works collaboratively with clients to address mental health concerns while supporting them to achieve their goals and build resilience in daily life.


Laura holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science from the University of Wollongong and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) from Monash University, and is currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology at Federation University.


Originally from Germany, Laura was drawn to Australia by the warmth of its culture and people, which continues to shape her culturally sensitive, inclusive, and empathetic approach. Her practice is grounded in evidence based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and guided by the biopsychosocial framework.


Laura is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and serves as a committee member of the APS Ballarat Branch. She offers services through the NDIS, VOC, and private funding.

Nara Rastegar

Provisional Psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner

Nara is a provisional psychologist and behaviour support practitioner with over 10 years of experience in the mental health and human services sectors, including extensive clinical practice overseas. She holds an overseas qualification in Clinical Psychology and brings a warm, grounded, and culturally sensitive approach to her work.


Nara is passionate about helping people understand and regulate their emotions, viewing emotional awareness as central to healing and personal growth. Her therapeutic style integrates Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and the biopsychosocial framework, creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to move forward at their own pace.


She works with individuals and couples from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds, particularly those experiencing significant life transitions, trauma, resettlement, and identity-related challenges. Nara takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach that supports meaningful and lasting change.


In addition to English, Nara is fluent in Farsi (Persian) and Dari, allowing her to offer therapy in clients’ preferred language and foster deeper connection and understanding.


Nara provides services through the NDIS, TAC, and private funding.

Sadia Hafeez

Provisional Psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner

Sadia is a provisional psychologist and behaviour support practitioner who holds a Master of Professional Psychology from Federation University and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Central Queensland University. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).


Sadia has experience working across therapeutic and community settings, including roles as a therapeutic child and youth practitioner and case manager supporting migrants, refugees, and families. She has worked with a range of presentations including obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD), social anxiety, and depression.


She uses evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based practice. Sadia is particularly passionate about neuro affirming practice and has a strong interest in working with neurodivergent individuals, including conducting ADHD and autism assessments.


Sadia provides services through the NDIS, TAC, Open Place, and private funding.

Tiffany Lurato

PSYCHOLOGIST AND BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT PRACTITIONER (Core)

Tiffany is a Registered Psychologist and Behaviour Therapist who holds a Master of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (Honours) from the Institute for Social Neuroscience, as well as Bachelor degrees in Criminology & Psychology and Legal & Dispute Studies from RMIT.


Tiffany works with children, adolescents and adults across a range of presentations. Her practice is informed by developmental, behavioural and forensic frameworks, with a focus on assessment, formulation and risk management. She has experience in behaviour support, psychological risk assessment and support worker training, and regularly works alongside multidisciplinary teams.


She conducts psychological assessments including cognitive, educational and neurodivergence assessments, and supports individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders and complex psychosocial presentations.

Tiffany provides services through Medicare, the NDIS, TAC, WorkSafe and private funding.

Jason Hamilton

Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

With over 20 years of mental health nursing experience and endorsed as a Nurse Practitioner since 2013, Jason has worked across a range of clinical settings in metropolitan, rural, and regional Victoria and New South Wales. He holds a Bachelor of Nursing, a Graduate Diploma of Nursing (Mental Health) from Monash University, a Master of Nursing (Mental Health) from Monash University, and a Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) from Flinders University.


Jason has extensive experience supporting individuals experiencing psychosis, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. His approach is client-centred, evidence-based, and strengths-focused, with an emphasis on practical therapeutic interventions.


Jason works with adult and young adult clients and provides services funded through the NDIS, Medicare, and Victims of Crime (VOC).
