At Clear Thinking Mental Health Group, our Behaviour Support services are designed around you. We support children, adolescents and adults who experience behaviours of concern by taking the time to understand why the behaviour is occurring and what supports are needed. We do not aim to simply “stop behaviours” — our focus is on improving quality of life, communication, emotional regulation and independence so that behaviours reduce naturally and safely. Our approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed and respectful, ensuring every person feels understood, supported and empowered.
We work collaboratively with participants, families, carers and support teams across home, school, community and supported accommodation settings to create practical, personalised behaviour support plans. Our NDIS team includes University qualified Behaviour Support Practitioners, including probationary psychologists, specialist teachers and teachers who are Master’s qualified Applied Behavioural Analysis practitioners. This multidisciplinary expertise allows Clear Thinking to provide comprehensive, evidence-based support tailored to each individual’s goals and environment.
Clear Thinking uses a person centred, neuro affirming and trauma informed framework.
Every behaviour serves a purpose.
Our role is to identify that purpose and replace distress, frustration or overwhelm with safer and more effective ways to communicate and cope.
We collaborate closely with:
Our focus is always skill building not behaviour control
